Restorative Justice in the Community (RJC) operates a restorative
justice programme working with those who commit offences and with
victims of crime currently in Counties Tipperary, Laois and Offaly.
Restorative Justice in the Community is now inviting applications for
the following position:
JOB TITLE: RESTORATIVE JUSTICE CASE WORKER

LOCATION: Hybrid / flexible working arrangement available with some
office days, some working from home and some travel in the region.
Office work based in Nenagh, County Tipperary, and travel throughout
Counties Tipperary, Offaly, Laois (and/or such other areas in the
region as may be identified in the future). Travel expenses paid as
per RJC policy.
TERM / TYPE OF CONTRACT: Career Break Cover, Fixed Term / Specified

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Case Worker will take referral of cases from District Courts in
the region, manage cases through to completion, recruit, support and
develop panels of community volunteers, develop restorative options,
facilitate restorative interventions and support offenders and victims
of crime.
RJC is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter with excellent
organisational and interpersonal skills to provide Career Break Cover
on the basis of a fixed term / specified purpose Contract with an

experience in a restorative justice context, working with victims of
crime and offenders.
